SKW crowned volleyball champions
The SKW women’s team was crowned the winner of the 2013 Bank Windhoek National Volleyball Women’s League at the DTS Hall last weekend.
The top four teams, SKW, Namibia Defence Force, Revivals and Khomas Nampol will now participate in the Namibia Volleyball Federation (NVF) Cup, scheduled for 2 and 16 November in Windhoek. The champions of the NVF Cup will be crowned on 16 November. The bottom three teams, DTS, Polytech and Eleven Warriors Volleyball Club, will battle it out on 16 November, to regain their place in the National League. The top three clubs, SKW, NDF and Revivals will automatically qualify to participate in the Zone 6 Club Championships, which will take place in Swaziland later this year. All three clubs are still looking for sponsorships to participate in the event.
